PLNZ (Public Libraries of New Zealand)’s annual forum kicks off tomorrow evening in Ōtautahi at Tūranga, followed by two days of presentations, workshops and networking.
Te Rōpū Whakahau will be there with Jacqueline Snee, Tumuaki, and Maia Whiterod, Tumuaki Teina, giving a presentation on the journey of Te Rōpū Whakahau and our aspirations for the future. Fellow Ngā Kaiwhakahau member Te Paea Paringatai, President-Elect of IFLA, will be there as part of an international panel discussion on Libraries Across Nations and rōpū member Aleisha Amohia from Catalyst NZ is giving a presentation on indigenous values, data sovereignty and library systems. There are sure to be more of us there as attendees too, so keep an eye and out and let’s get together over lunch on Wednesday for a catch-up. Waiho i te toipoto, kaua i te toiroa. Mauri ora!
