Te Rōpū Whakahau are thrilled and privileged to announce the election of our wahine toa Te Paea Paringatai as the President elect to IFLA: International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions. Te Paea has been a force within Te Rōpū Whakahau for many years and it was a great pleasure to be a part of her nomination to IFLA. We wish her all the best for the role and are proud of what she has achieved and of the expertise and insight she will bring to this international role.
