Work with the University of Canterbury (UC), Auckland Council Libraries (ACL), CONZUL (Council of New Zealand University Librarians) and NZLPP (New Zealand Library Partnership Programme) to manage and deliver the NZLPP research project ‘He Kupenga Horopounamu – a programme of work to inform and change Libraries’ practice and service design to achieve better outcomes for Māori communities.’ The purpose of this project is to undertake research that informs library practice and service design that supports Māori wellbeing and educational success, increases understanding of how Māori whānau engage with libraries, and informs an action plan for public, school and university libraries.

Together with the project governance group, you will help set up the project and monitor the work of the project. In consultation with the research and design leads, you will coordinate project schedules and communications and you will also work with NZLPP and UC’s Research & Innovation unit to coordinate finances and reporting.
