HB Williams Memorial Library is seeking a dynamic, innovative professional that has te aroha for books and young people.

You will be able to provide high quality bi-lingual information services in the field of children and young adult literacy, including a range of programmes to enhance the whanau customer experience. A willingness to create and participate in various activities that engage young patrons is essential.

You will assist the Principal Children and Young Adult Librarian to select, develop and maintain a collection of resources that meet the needs of the children and young people of Gisborne.

Proficiency in te reo Māori and Tikanga Māori is essential.

NZ Diploma in Library and Information Studies (L5) or equivalent is expected. Formal experience and competency with working with young people is required.

You will be a highly motivated team player who is well organised and is committed to providing excellent customer service and quality results.
