Thank you to the NZ National Commission for UNESCO minor funding, we are able to offer our indigenous peoples from around the world a grant of up to NZD $1,000 (5 at the maximum amount allocated) in support of arrangements in attending the International Indigenous Librarians’ Forum 2019.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be indigenous
- Reside outside Aotearoa, New Zealand
Conditions
- Applicants must have:
- two referees from your Indigenous communities and/or employer
- Preference will be given to applicants residing in the Pacific
- Applicants need to provide a break down of financial costs on how the funds will be used
- If fund utilised for registration, it will be based on early bird costs
- Successful applicants must:
- Write an open access/open source/freely available online article (500 – 1,000 words) within one month of completion of the forum which will be linked via the IILF 2019 website (do you want to stipulate it can be for a journal or publication of their choice? With a link for us to include as advertisement on our own website); OR Provide a freely available online presentation (5-10 mins) reflecting on their learnings from the forum
- Provide a detailed report to Ngā Kaiwhakahau (https://trw.org.nz/contact/ within one month of completion of the forum
- Must acknowledge NZ National Commission for UNESCO minor funding grant in the introduction of their application
