Kaupapa:
Te Rōpū Whakahau offers one sponsorship annually as part of their commitment to supporting members to attend Hui ā-tau. Sponsorship is open to all individual members of the association. It is intended to encourage members to attend the Hui-ā-Tau and to give support to those who may be unable to attend due to financial difficulty
Criteria:
- Must be a paid, personal member of Te Rōpū Whakahau
- Must state that the application is on grounds of hardship
- Must show evidence of having applied to their organisation for support
- Applicants with involvement in Te Rōpū Whakahau work will be given extra consideration

Selection Process:
- Applications received 4 weeks prior to hui ā tau commencement will be considered
- Successful applicants will be notified of their success, the total amount of support available to them
- The applicant‘s organisation will also be notified that assistance will be provided.
Inclusions:
- Applicant‘s name, address, contact phone number and email address
- The name and address of the applicant‘s organisation/employer, manager and/or Chief Executive
