The annual AI4LAM (Artificial Intelligence for Libraries, Archives and Museums) is happening from the 15th-18th of October.
Under the 2024 Conference theme of Artificial Intelligence in the future of work in GLAMs (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums), the four-day event will facilitate exploration of the current state and potential futures of artificial intelligence and generative AI within the GLAM sector, through the lenses of history, language, and culture in relation to place, particularly in an Australasian context.
Technology, language, history and creativity will converge in Canberra for four days in October for Fantastic Futures: the world’s first in-depth exploration of the opportunities and challenges of AI for the cultural sector.
Hosted by the NFSA, which, as the keeper of Australia’s audiovisual collection, sits at the intersection of creativity, history and technology, Fantastic Futures is an unparalleled opportunity for GLAM and AI professionals.
Registrations close on the 20th September.
