Nominations to LIAC close this week – 31 July 2013

Te Rōpū Whakahau has been invited to put forward nominations for LIAC.  If this sounds like you, please email a copy of your full and up-to-date CV to trw@trw.org.nz or tumuaki@trw.org.nz before 30 July 2013.
As nominations are being invited from a number of groups, please note that any nomination made will not necessarily result in the appointment of the particular person.
LIAC consists of up to six members appointed by Minister Tremain after consultation with the Minister of Māori Affairs.   LIAC must have regard to recent national and international developments in library and information services.   It must also have regard to the means of promoting collaboration amongst institutions in protecting, preserving and promoting access to information including documentary heritage and mātauranga Māori.   Members must have knowledge and qualifications in one or more of the following areas:

Candidates from the South Island are particularly welcome.
